Project Pawtective Siren is an operation dedicated to protecting stray dogs from abuse in Indonesia.

Cases of stray dog abuse are shockingly frequent, and unfortunately, most go unseen. Countless strays

face unimaginable cruelty — many are beaten, and some even burned alive. The lucky ones are taken

for medical treatment, but many are left severely injured on the streets alone. With shelters overcrowded,

most remain unprotected out there on the streets. Hence, we stepped in to offer a solution that

creates room for a new kind of protection.

Pawtective Siren is a device that uses smart pet health-collar technology, configuring a heart-rate sensor to integrate with a siren and LED light. Just like humans, studies show that a dog’s heart rate stays steady when they are claim, but spikes when they feel panic, fear, or fright. When a dog faces threats or encounters an attack, its heartbeat rapidly spikes. The sensor then triggers the siren and dlashing LED, scaring off abusers and alerting the public, giving the dog a greater chance to get help or escape before it’s too late.

As we continue expanding the project to more cities, we need your support.
